The Voyages of RaggedAndy

I've been playing Puzzle Pirates as RaggedAndy on the Viridian Ocean since November of 2005.

(First, a bit of explanation about the name -- note the StudlyCaps; it's "Ragged Andy", not "Ragge Dandy", which I'm told could be interpreted as slang for "Jamaican pimp". I am not a Jamaican pimp; please don't call me one. Only one person is allowed to call me "Jamaican pimp", and that's only because she's a sweetheart. The rest of you can go hang.)

General Characterization

Pirateplay-wise, I'm a classicist; I much prefer pillaging to poker and blockades to flotillas and Atlantis, although the Cursed Isles are a lot of fun. I am competent at all shipboard stations save bilging and gunnery. I am the jack-of-all-trades, fundamental bedrock of the working crew, and without me and other people like me, all you rockstar battlenavers would be NOTHING.

Rather than take a visible role in politics, I generally prefer to work behind the scenes, dispensing sage advise and reasoned, penetrating opinion to leaders in the public view. I am a consummate diplomat and a subtle and dangerous politician. I keep in touch with observers everywhere, and am quite often more informed than most people give me credit for. I wield a twisted sense of humor, a dry, rapier wit, an acid tongue, and a facile pen; gods help you if I direct all of them at you at once.

Although I've never served in the military in Real Life, I strive for near-military standards in conduct, respect, loyalty, honor and service. I appreciate & reward the same in others.
