Welcome
From time to time, the mailing lists hosted by the Zarquon Internet Consortium come under attack from viruses. In almost all cases, we are able to catch them before they are distributed to you. However, the fact remains that we still get virus attempts, which means that some of the computers on which you read your mail may be infected with viruses you don't know about.
This website outlines some strategies for detecting viruses on your system, and for avoiding them in the future.
- The Virus Detection page discusses anti-virus programs, and describes how to use them so that your computer is optimally protected. It also has bulletins on the latest anti-virus developments and virus outbreaks. Check back often!
- The Viruses in Email page gives tips on how to avoid picking up viruses from Email. It also has news items on spam and spam-fighting.
- The Viruses on the Web page explains how to avoid viruses while surfing the web.
- The Contact page outlines how to get hold of us if you have questions about email you have received from the Zarquon Internet Consortium or one of its hosted domains.
